Introduction
HoMeeSuite is a modular event management platform built for community festivals, conventions, and volunteer-driven gatherings. It replaces fragmented tools with a single platform where event staff activate only the modules they need per event, while volunteers maintain one account across all events they participate in.
Where to start
The documentation is organised around three distinct roles. Find yours and jump straight in.
System Admin — you run the server and own the platform. Start with Deployment to get the instance up and running, then User Management to understand how accounts, groups, and permissions work.
Event Staff — you organise events and coordinate volunteers. Start with Managing Events to create your first event, then Managing Shifts and Managing Participants.
Volunteer — you are helping at an event. Start with Getting Started to register and join your event, then Shifts to sign up.
The role model
HoMeeSuite uses a group-based permission system. The four built-in roles are Superadmin, Event Admin, Coordinator, and Volunteer. A detailed breakdown of what each role can see and do is in Roles and Permissions.
